The cow changed the sounds on my computer.
Your computer makes a lot of noises. Did you know you can change them? If you are tired of listening to "The Microsoft Sound" every time you turn your system on, change it to a friendly voice telling you good morning.

To change your sound files, choose Start - Settings - Control Panel - Sounds - Sounds Tab. This will bring up an events list of every action that makes a sound.

The preview function is kind of fun. Listen to all your choices and change them as you like. Download new files and use them instead. Eliminate sounds too.

There are hundreds of places on the internet where you can download sound files. Just go to Google and search for sounds. Don't worry. You can't get a virus from a sound file. They have a code that can neither infect your system or hide a virus.

Search and listen to what's available. If you've never looked before, you will be amazed to hear all the sounds people have taken the time to put online. Mouse over these images to hear these sounds...
