Funny, huh? It still makes me smile. This is a simple little javascript trick that generates a sound when a visitor mouses over a link or image on your page.
What practical applications does it have?
If you have a microphone, you could record your own .wav file and say, "Click here to buy this now!" Maybe you could create a custom welcome message. Use your creativity.
You could also use it to add a short sound to your navigation buttons, or if you were really ambitious you could create a piano.
If you have nothing better to do on a Friday, you could search out the sound of a duck laughing and add it to your site. It may just be the thing to get you remembered!
